RNC Day 1: Mostly Peaceful
Independent media have given a lot of coverage to the confrontations between police, demonstrators, and - well - independent media. The UpTake now has proof that creative, peaceful people were in fact spotted in downtown St. Paul on the first day of the RNC; an estimated 10,000 of them in fact. Here's a little taste.
