Empathy And Activist Judges
Senator Charles Grassley (R-Iowa) tells Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor that "empathy" is just another way of saying "legislating from the bench." Senator Russ Feingold (D - Wisconsin) tells Grassley that calling someone an "activist judge" is what you do when you don't agree with their decision.
