The Sarah Palin (she was in town for a 1k per plate fundraiser) protest held Friday morning in downtown Dallas was great. We had an official count of over 400 protestors on our side; they were out there for over 4 hours! The other side had a few more –so over one thousand people were on the streets of downtown Dallas protesting –it was excellent.

There were activists from: the gay community, reproductive rights, ACORN, various peace groups, animal rights, AIDS awareness and the most wonderful women from Collin, Rockwall and other Democratic clubs !

Go North Texas !!!!– This event really allowed us to use the amazing array of new technology and reporting ability that we now have for progressive local news in the North Texas Progressive
